Rytis Martinionis

Rytis Martinionis lives, teaches and works in Klaipeda. He enjoys a respectful reputation and has had numerous articles written about him, but they are nearly all in Lithuanian. I can tell you that his principle work is in stained glass and you can see this in his paintings, which are characterized by a skillful use of colour and form.

He uses painting to express social and political commentary, as can be seen in the three paintings in this collection.
